Our Story

Chao Coffee and Tea was founded in 2017 from a deep passion for coffee, tea, and the rituals that surround them. What began as a personal journey quickly revealed a larger need—clear, practical guidance for people who wanted to start beverage businesses but lacked reliable direction.

Our aim was to bridge that gap, offering education and support grounded in real industry experience consolidated from various proven practices rather than trends or shortcuts.

The Founder

Chao Coffee and Tea is led by founder Riza Sripetchvandee, an industry educator, author, and mentor. Through her YouTube channel, Riza has reached a global audience, sharing practical knowledge on coffee, milk tea, and matcha preparation and business fundamentals.

She is the author of two widely used training guides, All Things Milk Tea and The Basic Barista, trusted by beginners and professionals alike.

Under her guidance, many subscribers, followers and students have successfully launched beverage businesses—some expanding into multiple locations over the years.
